I know how much you put into this election - blood, sweat and tears and a camino.
Relax now girl. Your man is in the white house. Time to turn your thoughts inwards, to your health, your plans and your own dreams.

Sil (& anyone else), It's as if I've just woken up from an 8 year long nightmare. In 3 & 1/2 hours, I will have been up 24 hours. I'm tired, exhausted, but I can't sleep! I've been working all day at my county party HQ, telling folks where they can go vote & trying to keep things organized (a famous Democrat, Will Rodgers once said "I don't belong to an organized party; I'm a Democrat"). When they sprang the announcement on us, we went nuts! I'm surprised no one called the cops! There were lots of small miracles. A couple of retired teachers walked precincts ALL DAY LONG (and it got hot this afternoon!), others spent the day driving voters to the polls, or waving signs at polling stations. A volunteer Obama phone banker in Houston found a voter in my town who needed a ride to the polls. She found the number to my HQ, called us & we were able to get this lady to her polling station. Another man didn't know where his polling station was, so I called it up on Google Maps & gave him directions over the phone! OMG OMG OMG. It's absolutely overwhelming.
